Since 2015, Shine Orthodontics has proudly partnered with Pink Ribbon Good (PRG) during Breast Cancer Awareness Month to provide support and resources to those affected by breast cancer.
October is more than just a month of changing leaves and crisp air—it's a time for action and solidarity. For us, this means dedicating the entire month to helping those touched by breast cancer through our Pink Ribbon Good Event. Our goal is simple: raise awareness, provide support, and make a difference in the lives of breast cancer patients and their families.
This year, we are once again thrilled to host a month-long event filled with opportunities for our patients and community members to get involved. From our highly anticipated online auction to fun activities, you can incorporate breast cancer awareness into your daily routine, Shine Orthodontics is committed to making a positive impact in October and beyond.

About Pink Ribbon Good
Pink Ribbon Good (PRG) is a remarkable local organization that offers critical support to individuals and families affected by breast and gynecological cancers. Their mission is to ensure that no one travels this difficult journey alone.
PRG provides essential services, all free of charge, to cancer patients and their families, including:
- Nutritious meal delivery
- Transportation to and from medical appointments
- Housekeeping services to ease the daily burdens
- Peer support from others who have faced similar battles
By working together with PRG, Shine Orthodontics is committed to making a tangible difference in the lives of those touched by breast cancer.
Every bid, donation, or show of support helps PRG continue to provide these much-needed services and gives hope to patients and their families.
How You Can Participate
Throughout the month of October, you can follow Shine Orthodontics on Facebook and Instagram to stay updated on our various fundraising efforts and awareness events. This includes our highly anticipated online auction of a Full Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment, valued at over $6,000, with all proceeds benefiting Pink Ribbon Good. Bidding starts October 1st, and the final bid will be accepted on October 31st.
How to Place Your Bid
Want to help ease the struggles of families touched by breast cancer? Here’s how you can place your bid on this exclusive orthodontic treatment:
- Message us privately on Facebook or Instagram @livelifeshining, or give us a call to submit your starting bid of $3,000.
- Stay up to date as bids will be posted, and you will be notified daily if you are outbid.
- This auction is open to both adult and child patients (excluding Invisalign), with treatment needing to start within one year.
Support the Cause Beyond the Auction
There are plenty of other ways to get involved!
Here’s how you can support families fighting breast cancer:
- Attend local PINK Out football games and show your solidarity.
- Buy a PINK Ribbon Good t-shirt to raise awareness.
- Wear PINK to your Shine Orthodontics appointments and request pink elastics or ties for your braces.
