We are honored and excited to once again be partnering with our local community and YMCA to help kids stay active and healthy. Whether your child is new to competing in a triathlon or they are experienced with SWIMMING, BIKING, and RUNNING, this event is perfect for all kids ages 6-14. 

Shine Orthodontics is auctioning a Full Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment with all proceeds benefiting the Caring for Families Campaign. Opening bid is $3,000 (Retail Value of $6,000). You can place a bid by leaving a message on the Shine Orthodontics Facebook Page or emailing questions regarding the auction and bids to: jen@justshine.com. All final bids need to be in by 8 pm on Thursday 8/19, with the highest bidder winning at 8:01 pm.

Without further ado, let's take a closer look at this year's Countryside YMCA Healthy Kids Triathlon.  

The 2022 Countryside YMCA Healthy Kids Triathlon Details 

This summer is the perfect opportunity to get your kids into swimming, biking, running, or all three! Kids aged 6 to 14 can test their skills in this August’s Countryside YMCA Kids Triathlon.  

There is no better event this summer to help your kids stay active and get moving. Your kids can experience the excitement and thrill of a real triathlon in a welcoming and encouraging environment designed to build up your kids' self-confidence and instill a lifelong love for biking, swimming, and running! 

This year’s Countryside Kids Triathlon will be held at the Countryside YMCA in Lebanon, Ohio. Participants will swim in the YMCA’s Olympic-sized outdoor swimming pool, bike on the Countryside/Lebanon bike trail, and run cross country on the YMCA’s outdoor fields and nature trail.  

Kids will be grouped into similar age ranges to ensure a fair competitive chance for each participant. Each group will have its own race length, swimming pool allotment, and bike length along the trail. Each participant who crosses the finish line will be awarded for their hard work! 

After the race, families can stay and celebrate during the Family Fun Fest! 

Below is a quick breakdown of the Countryside YMCA Kids Triathlon.  

Date: Saturday, August 20, 2022 

Start time: 8:00 AM Race Start Time – The race begins with the 6-8-year-old division 

Bike Drop – 6:30am(Mini) 6:50am(Juniors) 7:20am(Senior) 

Price and registration: $35 register here

Pre-race check in (required): Check-in August 19th – 5:30-7:00pm– Lower-level Entrance "D-3" 

All participants must sign a waiver at registration.

Be sure to submit your bid for the Full Comprehensive Orthodontic Treatment by 8:00 PM on 8/19 and register your kids for the triathlon. Remember, there are no day-of registrations, so be sure to register well in advance of the event.
