Our Certified Orthodontists

Dr. Michael Agenter is a board certified orthodontist with Diplomat status in the American Board of Orthodontics. Dr. Agenter grew up in Anderson Township and is a graduate of Turpin High School. He earned his Bachelor degree from Northern Kentucky University and DDS degree at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry. He served as a dental officer in the United States Navy at Balboa Naval Hospital in San Diego and U.S. Naval Hospital Guam in the South Pacific. While in the Navy, he completed a General Practice Residency and earned the Navy-Marine Corps Achievement Medal before his honorable discharge as a Lieutenant. 

After his military service, Dr. Agenter completed a 3-year orthodontic residency at the University of Tennessee, the oldest orthodontic program in the South, earning a Master's degree and certificate of orthodontics. He is now a private practice orthodontist with offices serving Maineville, Chillicothe and Lebanon. 

Dr. Agenter is involved in several professional organizations including the Christian Medical Dental Association (CMDA), the American Dental Association (ADA), the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), the Ohio Dental Association (ODA) and the American Board of Orthodontists (ABO). He is grateful for the opportunity to serve his community as an orthodontist and enjoys developing lifelong relationships with his staff, patients and their families.
